2000 Mules
2000 Mules is an American political conspiracist work which was made by right-wing commentator Dinesh D’Souza. The film had made false claims about some unnamed organisations which are tied up with the Democratic party, acting as “mules” that illegally collected and deposited ballots in the drop boxes in the states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. This movie was supposedly set in time for the Presidential Election of 2020. In this thing, it was mentioned that there were 2000 of those organisations secretly working with the Democratic party. The person who made this film, Dinesh D’Souza, is quite notorious for making brutal false claims and conspiracy
theories that people like to just gobble up.

This film was quite obviously not a blockbuster hit, because it was full of stupid claims and false information, the usual ones made by people who thought that the COVID-19 pandemic was a hoax spread by the government, who refused to wear masks and abide by the laws of social distancing, How late is the closest grocery store open. who attended heavily filled public places and Trump rallies at a time when social distancing was being duly requested from people.
The Associated Press reported that the film depended on getting their facts from “faulty assumptions, anonymous accounts and improper analysis of cell phone location data ”, that were provided by a conservative non-profit organisation called True the Vote.
The Associated Press clarified that about 1150 of the mules which were said to be recognised in the Philadelphia area were all false claims. The film also ended up producing a single, unverified anonymous witness who made claims of what she assumed were “payments” for ballot collection in the Arizona region, but no evidence of any illegal money collection were found from any of the other states places that were mentioned in the film. Therefore, the conspiracy theory of debt collection having taken place during the voting process was another untrue claim made by the republicans, who simply could not digest the fact that their beloved President Trump will not be remaining president any longer.
The release of a companion book was announced in early 2022, but due to many legal threats and actions taken against Dinesh, it was pushed back for release in October.
