Melissa Womer, the waitress at the comedy joint, was born on July 8, 1960, in New York City, New York, in the United States. According to several stories, she grew raised in a troubled home, preventing her from having a stable childhood. After graduating from New York City’s primary and secondary schools, Mellisa Womer enrolled at the University of Kansas. She had odd jobs during her stay at the institution, such as writing jokes for the morning radio show on Q104 in Kansas City.
Mellisa headed to Hollywood after earning her degree from the University of Kansas in the aim of becoming well-known. However, she was unsuccessful in her attempts to achieve greatness and instead ended herself working as a cocktail server on Sunset Boulevard, where the Comedy Store is situated.
